Thirlmere Bushflower Honey is 100% pure natural honey gathered from local flora by happy contented bees working hard for your health & longevity.
This honey is cold extracted from fully sealed combs only. It is not heated so it retains its natural enzymes and is not micronite filtered so it retains some pollen as natural protein. It is not blended with other honeys and its unique flavours are seasonal.
The principal sources of nectar are blended by the bees from:
Stringy Bark
Iron Bark
Grey Gum
Scribbly Gum
Blue Gum
Yellow & Red Bloodwood
Turpentine Tree &
Tea Trees
plus a myriad of wild flowers native to this area. Thirlmere Bushflower Honey may also be used as a natural antiseptic for burns and skin lesions.
